E-5-14-2. Maintenance-Under this head should be charged the cost of all labour and material used for the maintenance of telegraph and telephone posts, insulators, wires, cables and other acces- sories, instruments, batteries, switchboards &c; also the cost of maintenance of electric train staff

apparatus when done by this Department.

E-5-14-3. New Minor Works–Under this head should

be charged the cost of any new work or group of new works and plant or additions to existing

works costing $4,000 and under in each case. Any

ment in value is involved, in which case only the enhanced value over the original cost should be
